Daytime Mandarin Classes (2017 Oct-Dec)

Daytime Mandarin Classes (2017 Oct-Dec)

Description

You could be learning one of the world’s most spoken languages in October of 2017 on the DMU campus. The Confucius Institute (CI) is offering 10 weeks of daytime Mandarin classes to DMU students, staff and members of the public.

We will run three blocks of 10-week classes in one academic year. After completing 10 weeks of classes, learners of each level are expected to proceed to a higher stage.

The classes are open to people of all abilities, with four different levels available, allowing you the chance to take up a new language or improve your existing skills.

During your weekly two-hour lesson, you will also be able to develop your awareness of Chinese cultural values and perspectives, which will help you if you want to travel to China or interact with Chinese communities now or in the future.
