This is a one day course to give current SFA candidates the opportunity to enhance their practice, which will allow them to (once deem competent by a designated Consultant Surgeon) practice the extended role of an SFA using skills as set out in the Perioperative Care Collaborative (2018). 

The course will include LA injection injection and pharmacology, superficial skin closure techniques including drain stitching, stapling and skin glue and an introduction to direct diathermy.

The course will run from 9am to 5pm.  Location: HB2.18 and HB2.29
