An all-day trip to the walled city of York. With its backdrop of medieval lanes, Viking history and famous shopping streets, this compact city is packed with things to see and do. The cost includes return coach travel from DMU to York.
Detailed Description
Renowned for its Roman, Viking, and Medieval heritage and for its architecture and old cobbled streets, York is also famous for York Minster, one of the great cathedrals of the world.
Other attractions include the Jorvik viking centre, York Castle Museum, Clifford’s Tower and the National Railway Museum. There’s also lots of cafes, shops, bars and restaurants!

Departure from DMU: 07.30
Arrival in York: 10:00 (approx)
Depart from York: 17:00
Arrive back at DMU campus: 19.30 (approx)
Cancellations and refunds
Before booking your place, please make sure that you are able to join the trip on Saturday 25th April. If you decide to cancel your place you will need to notify us in writing as soon as possible. In some circumstances we may be able to provide a refund, depending on close to the date of the trip you decide to cancel your booking. Please see our Cancellation and Refunds Policy.
Please also note that this trip requires a minimum number of students. In the unlikely event that if we have to cancel the trip because of insufficient bookings, or for any other reason, you will receive a full refund.
