The Lord Mayor of Leicester, Councillor Bhupen Dave, is hosting a reception in the Town Hall to welcome new international students.
This event is FREE but we require students to pay a refundable deposit in order to book a place.
Detailed Description
The visit will take place in the Town Hall and includes a tour of the Council Chamber and a reception with refreshments. Senior staff from the University Leadership Board will also attend this event.
You will need to be available from 3pm on Tuesday 29th October. We expect that the event will finish by 17.30.
Please note that a limited number of places are available because of the capacity of the venue.
Refundable Deposit Scheme
The event is FREE but we require students to pay a deposit, which will be refunded after the trip. If you book a place, you can decide to cancel up until 12.00 on Monday 28th October, by emailing to let us know. Please note that if you book a place but don't attend and you haven't contacted us to cancel your place, we will not be able to refund your deposit.
