Description

An afternoon trip for students to Bradgate Park, run by the International Student Support team.

Detailed Description

Bradgate Park offers a wild and rugged landscape with dramatic rocky outcrops and old oak trees, some of which are over 500 years old. It became a deer park around 800 years ago and the deer still roam freely around the ruins of Bradgate House, which was the birthplace of Lane Jane Grey - who was Queen of England for just 9 days in 1553.

Bradgate Park is 25 minutes by bus from Leicester and provides a fantastic taste of the English countryside! We will leave Leicester at 13.00 and expect to be back on campus by around 17.00.

Booking limit: To give as many students as possible the opportunity to join this trip, we are operating a booking limit of 2 places per student. If you book more than 2 places, any additional places that you have bought will be cancelled and refunded.

Cancellations: Before booking, please make sure that you can join this trip on Friday 13th June. If you want to cancel your place, you will need to let us know by email as soon as possible. We will refund any cancellations received by 17.00 on Monday 9th June. If we receive your cancellation after that, we reserve the right to charge you up to 100% of the cost of your booking.
