Detailed Description
Manchester is full of restaurants, bars, shops, museums, and galleries. The city also has a proud history of science, politics, music, arts and sport. Enjoy beautiful gothic architecture at John Rylands Library and Manchester Cathedral, explore the artwork of Manchester Art Gallery, and uncover the city's past at Manchester Museum and the Imperial War Museum North.
Of course, the city is also famous for football. Take a detour from the city centre to visit Old Trafford or the Etihad stadium (advance booking may be required), or discover the social history of 'The Beautiful Game' at the National Football Museum.
You can choose how you spend your day in Manchester, or book onto our optional walking tour if you want to learn about the city and its attractions in more depth (this is an additional Online Store item).
